Elite 2nd Annual Aerospace and Defense Symposium – EVI Presentation
Elite held its 2nd Annual Aerospace and Defense Symposium on December 15, 2015. During the event, veterans in attendance were recognized and thanked for their service, and EVI Co-President, Phil Dixon, presented the mission of the Elite Veterans Initiative for the first time to the group of esteemed Elite investors and partners.
Breaking down the three main pillars of EVI: Support, Empower, and Employ, Phil outlined the ways in which the Elite team plans to make these goals a reality. With the holiday Adopt-a-Family project already in full swing and connections made with multiple veteran support organizations, the message was clear that Elite is committed to its Core Value of making a Lasting Contribution to Society. After the presentation, Phil was able to speak with symposium attendees who were inspired to find out ways in which they could get involved and help.
Elite Veterans Initiative partner organizations, Advanced Manufacturing Careers (AMC), http://www.advmfgcareers.com, and Work First, http://www.workfirst.us, were in attendance at the event in support of EVI. Phil said, “We are looking forward to collaborating with these organizations. The relationships we have already built and will continue to build are crucial to accomplishing the goals we have set for EVI.”
The entire Elite team would like to thank Seyka Huff with AMC and John Funk, Kaz Lockett, and Cynthia Marinaccio with Work First for taking the time to be a part of this event.
